ROAD TEST

License Examination (Road Test)
We will schedule the road test (or medical competency test) appointment at your request, provide a specially equipped motor vehicle, sponsorship, and processing all of the RMV applications.
We also offer transportation to the location of your road exam and back at no extra cost.
Road test service is only $50.00.
Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles charges a fee of $20 for a “no show”, or for canceling your road test without a 24-hours notice.
TIP: If you're taking a driving road test, be sure you have practiced under many different conditions including in bad weather and at night.
Here are some basic topics of the road test you need to know when taking a road test to obtain a driver's license. During the Driving Test your examiner will note the following:
- Starting your vehicle (look back and wait until it is safe)
- Driving in traffic (speeding, obeying traffic signs and signals, yielding the right of way, keeping distance from other cars and pedestrians, Passing)
- Steering (turning from the correct lane to the correct lane)
- Speed control (adjusting to road conditions, visible distance ahead, pedestrians, weather)
- Stopping & Parking (smoothly and at the proper spot)
